Biopesticides are living organisms, their products (phytochemicals, microbial products) or byproducts (semiochemicals) which can be used for the management of pests (microorganisms – nematodes, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, virus and viroid; macroorganisms – invertebrates and vertebrates) that are injurious to plants.  Biopesticides have an important and increasing role in crop protection, although most commonly in combination with other tools including chemical pesticides as part of Bio-intensive Integrated Pest Management (BIPM). World-wide use of biopesticides has been rapidly increasing.

It gives me a great pleasure to invite you to the forth coming “Third Biopesticide International Conference (BIOCICON 2011)” from 28 to 30th November 2011 at St. Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai, Tamil Nadu, India.  The main aim of the conference is “Ecofriendly Pest Management”. We understood that you have been working on “Ecofriendly Pest Management”. You are most welcome to share your expertise with delegates of Third Biopesticide International Conference and suggest a topic of your presentation all on before 30th of November 2010.
